PKMove at the Lynhaven Civic Association

Many thanks to the Lynhaven Civic Association for having Nancy Lorentz speak at their monthly meeting. Lorentz introduced PKMove to the group and answered questions about parkour, Hume Springs Park, and PKMove Silver, a special parkour class designed for senior citizens, 55+.  The class will allow seniors to “unleash their inner ninja” and train the practical techniques and principles of parkour while blending other aspects of movement (such as stretches and dance) through a variety of fun group activities, games and individual challenges.

PKMove Silver classes will begin on Tuesday, April 26th, 10-11am, at Hume Springs Park located at 100 Dale Street, Alexandria, Va 22305.  Classes are free, but limited to the first 20 who register. Email admin@pkmove.org for more information or to register. (We are also offering another PKMove Silver class on Wednesday, April 27th, 10-11am, at Ft. Ward Park on 4301 W. Braddock Rd, Alexandria)

Beyoncé sponsors PKMove

In a surprise gesture to the many senior citizens in her fan base, the Queen Bee has completely underwritten PKMove Silver’s programming for 2016.

“I am happy to do it,” she said, noting, “I look forward to seeing my new sportswear line in action.”

The generous diva did stipulate that all PKMove coaches and participants don attire from her new line of active wear. Look for us in a park near you and most of all we’d like

to wish you a Happy April Fools Day! 😂😂😂 (But seriously, Beyoncé, if you’re reading this, we love you and we’d happily sport your beautiful duds. Sexy doesn’t have an age limit!)
