Many thanks to the Lynhaven Civic Association for having Nancy Lorentz speak at their monthly meeting. Lorentz introduced PKMove to the group and answered questions about parkour, Hume Springs Park, and PKMove Silver, a special parkour class designed for senior citizens, 55+. The class will allow seniors to “unleash their inner ninja” and train the practical techniques and principles of parkour while blending other aspects of movement (such as stretches and dance) through a variety of fun group activities, games and individual challenges.
PKMove Silver classes will begin on Tuesday, April 26th, 10-11am, at Hume Springs Park located at 100 Dale Street, Alexandria, Va 22305. Classes are free, but limited to the first 20 who register. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to register. (We are also offering another PKMove Silver class on Wednesday, April 27th, 10-11am, at Ft. Ward Park on 4301 W. Braddock Rd, Alexandria)
