Many thanks for all who supported the Walk to Bust Cancer on Sunday, October 16th, especially those who visited the PK Move obstacle course, participated in the walk warm-up, or took part in our PK Pink Demo. What a great time for a great cause: the prevention, detection, and treatment of breast cancer in low-income women who live in the Alexandria area. Here is a short video of the obstacle course activity.
In observance of the Columbus Day Holiday, PK Silver will not meet today.
Join us for PK Silver on Wednesday, October 12, 10am at the Fort Ward Amphitheater.
Also, if you are or know a breast cancer survivor, please consider participating in the Walk to Bust Cancer. PK Move will be offering a free parkour class for breast cancer survivors, PK Pink. We will also be taking registrations for a new PK Pink class which will happen in the Ft. Hunt area beginning in 2017. Register through the link below!
