PK Silver, our parkour class for people over 50, got a mention in IDEA Fitness Magazine, June 2017 edition.
PK Silver is cancelled today due to rain. (We are looking for a free indoor alternative near Hume Springs Park.) Please join us Wednesday, May 24, 10am-12:15pm, as PKMove will be offering a FREE parkour class/demo at the Senior Health & Fitness Fair at the Lee Center in Alexandria. FREE. This event is for folks 55+.
PK Move is thrilled to announce that Jesse Danger – master parkour coach, stuntman, and co-founder of The Movement Creative – will be joining us on April 5th for our Parkour-A-thon! Don’t miss your chance to meet up with Jesse, play with PK Move, and make a donation to the Pop-Up! Tie optional. 😎
PK is an abbreviation for the word parkour. Hence our name, PK Move. Parkour is a French word which could be translated as “obstacle course running.” Our definition? Parkour is moving through your environment in a fluid, efficient manner. This month, we are telling you why we love parkour. Listen to PK Silver participant Colin. He says, “This is fun. It’s outdoors. And it’s good for you.”
