New PK Silver Class at Senior Center

“Falls, with or without injury, also carry a heavy quality of life impact. A growing number of older adults fear falling and, as a result, limit their activities and social engagements. This can result in further physical decline, depression, social isolation, and feelings of helplessness. The most profound effect of falling is the loss of independent living.” (Comfortkeepers.com)

^^^ This is why we do what we do!!! Today we had a wonderful PK Silver class with our friends at the Charles Houston Senior Center. 💖 We are excited to be working with this fun & lively group to build strength and practice balance!

Some of the participant feedback:

  • “I loved it! I want to do it again!”
  • “I did not know what to expect, but now that I know what it is, I like it and want to do it again.”
  • “That was fun!”
  • “I didn’t think I could balance [on the precision trainer] but I did it!”
  • “Can I go [through the obstacle course] again?”

Favorite quote: “My son is very shy. I have never seen him get this excited and participate in a reading program before. He loved it!”
