PK Move’s Ninja Reading Hour was amazing! We were excited to welcome 10 children and 7 adults for this interactive, movement-inspired literacy event which included songs, Story Time, ninja movement and parkour culture.
Favorite quote: “My son is very shy. I have never seen him get this excited and participate in a reading program before. He loved it!”

PK Move has a number of upcoming events to raise moola for a our Community Matching Fund Project: a pop-up parkour playground and three years of FREE-to-the-public parkour lessons. PK Move, a non-profit organization founded by three women, will hold PK Silver, our adapted parkour class for people over 50, as planned on International Women’s Day (Wednesday, March 8, 10-11am) at Monarca in Flight. If you are a woman 50+ and would like to try parkour, please join us. Wear red for a FREE class!
**EXCITING NEWS UPDATE!** PKMove has been awarded a Community Matching Fund Grant from Alexandria RPCA. We will be offering city-wide, free-to-the-public parkour lessons at parks events for the next three years! But to do this we need YOUR help! We have to raise $5000 and are looking for sponsors!

- bring a water bottle (both parks have water fountains, but just in case)

- apply sun screen if needed
- be ready to move and have fun!
