PK Move is thrilled to announce that Jesse Danger – master parkour coach, stuntman, and co-founder of The Movement Creative – will be joining us on April 5th for our Parkour-A-thon! Don’t miss your chance to meet up with Jesse, play with PK Move, and make a donation to the Pop-Up! Tie optional. 😎
PK Move has a number of upcoming events to raise moola for a our Community Matching Fund Project: a pop-up parkour playground and three years of FREE-to-the-public parkour lessons. Come to one or all of these events to support our project which will bring the power of play to people of all ages and abilities. Direct donations of any amount from individuals/families are greatly appreciated. We are also looking for corporate sponsors… and for a $5000 donation the playground can be named after YOUR company or organization! Click on the highlighted text to register. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Monday, 3/20, 7-9pm BEER BINGO at St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub
Friday, 3/31, 6-9pm JOIN US 4 JUMPS at Flight Trampoline Park.
… it is worth going because you get to meet so many AMAZING individuals! Even though we’d rather be out playing parkour with YOU, we must keep making new contacts and partnerships, explore opportunities, promote awareness of our services and keep critical financial & community support coming in! This week we had several great meetings. We got up to speed on disrupting the status quo in senior care/services with journalist Meg LaPorte and also learned about Spring2Action fundraising with ACT in Alexandria and Razoo Giving. We met boatloads of wonderful people who are doing the most important work right here in our community and the wider DMV.
